Luggage and vehicle coordination occur at that facility rather than in the commercial baggage area. The airport’s own contingency documents describe a small apron with a limited number of aircraft parking positions. Space at the FBO can run tight even when the runway and weather cooperate. A car service that knows this in advance treats it as routine rather than a complication. The FBO, not the terminal, is the real reference point for the whole group.
Because there’s only so much ramp, and everyone wants it the same week. Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and the December holidays put the heaviest demand on Atlantic Aviation’s limited apron and parking positions. Peak periods put real pressure on that capacity. Setting up ramp and parking arrangements early matters more here than at an airport with room to spare.
Landing is only half the equation. Departure carries its own version of the same problem, and summer changes it rather than solving it.
